The Compound Collection gets its assets from other collections, unlike other collection types which gets assets directly from the project folder.It acts as a way to ‘group’ assets from several collections at once to quickly view them.
The Compound collection has an option to automatically get the assets from its sub-collections, making it great to act as a top level parent to a ‘category’ of collections.
Determines how the Compound collection will automatically get assets from sub-collections, if at all.
None: Will not automatically get assets from any of its sub-collections.
All Sub-collections: Will get assets from all sub-collections that have the Compound collection as an ancestor.
Top Sub-collections Only: Will get assets from only the sub-collections that the Compound collection is the direct parent of.
The list shows all of the sub-collections that the Compound collection will get assets from.
A list of collections that the Compound collection will get assets from. Any collection can be added to the list, they do not need to be sub-collections of the Compound collection.
